Sombrero Beach Bath House - Marathon FloridaMarathon's Sombrero Beach has been recently refurbished with new picnic shelters, bath houses and a playground and is in pristine condition. A very nice sandy beach and swimming area all along the waterfront.  Good parking out on the street and the area is fenced so the kids can run amuck. Pets are welcome.

There is a nice playground area with slides and things for the small fry, or they can just play on the beach like these two young visitors.

Sombrero Beach is one of the better beaches in the Keys with lots of room to relax and enjoy the day. A great family spot.

MAP		 From "downtown" Marathon (where the K-Mart shopping Center is) turn oceanside at the stoplight  (MM 50) and follow the road 'till it ends.
